Policies and Fees

• I primarily conduct my checkrides from Lancaster Airport (KLNS).  However, I may meet you at nearby airports on a case by-case basis.

• Current Practical test Fees:

  • Private, Instrument, Commercial - $900

  • Note: Cash and Venmo are the only acceptable forms of

     payment.

• If the practical test is discontinued beyond your control, there is no charge to reschedule and fly. The checkride fee that is initially charged is non-refundable once the test begins.

• Retest for a prior Disapproval from me:                                                                                                          The Ground and Flight Retest will be the full cost of the original practical test. However, credit will be given depending on the ACS tasks completed. Full Flight Retest only is normally $500.

• Retest fees from another Examiner will be provided upon test date confirmation and cost depends on the number of ACS tasks remaining. Typically, $600-$900.

• Please make every effort to cancel and reschedule as far in advance as possible. This makes it possible to schedule other applicants to take your slot. Thank you in advance!
